The third of July party at Joel and Karen's new house was killer. Warm weather, good people, loads of booze and solid food to welcome our friends into their new home in Oakland! Good times all night. Woke up the next day, headed back to the bay, and it was actually nice out. Hung out in the park with the lady and her friend. Then we headed to Coitus tower and watched the fireworks for a bit. Rounded off the night with 3 slices from Golden Boy. Good day. The following weekend The Bruised Livers and the Ladies headed north to the Yuba River for some camping and white water rafting. Plenty of good stories and goodtimes were had for sure. We rafted down level 4/5 rapids. Maytag, the beast of the South Yuba got handled the first time through. We blew through that mother like it was nothing. Then when we dropped it again, that mother showed us that she's definitely something. We have video of both drops and I'll post it when I get it. The rest of our time in the daytime was spent exploring around the river, a gnarly rope swing, cliff jumping, wizard dueling, and just having a good time. Can't wait till the next trip. Pics soon.
